Probably the best banner seen in recent times was on display at the recent Chelsea-ManU fixture. It ran "United..the kids..the wife; In that order." Have you seen better? For myself, I would like to see "United..the kids..the husband. In that order." Just so the lasses maintain equilibrium.

That Alan Pardew is still in a quandry over which formation to play was evident from yesterday's match at the Orient where his team selections and formation were a carbon copy of the previous week's home game against MKDons. Only the result was different and Saints, arguably, came away with one point when they might easily have had all three.

Sky cameras showed Alan Pardew at the Madejski stadium last night. With notebook! Anyone know who he had his eye on? Could have been a Leicester player. Harry Redknap and various other managers were there too. Presumably, they weren't all looking at the same player.
