The Trust Board
Chairman - Nick Illingsworth
Since attending his first game against Manchester United in the FA Cup third round back in 1972, Nick has been hooked ever since, in that time missing very few home games and also being a regular attendee at away matches. Co-founder of The Ugly Inside Fanzine in 1988, an institution still going today albeit in website form, he also helped found the Southampton Independent Supporters Association in 1993 and The True Saints Association a couple of years back.
Although he is no longer connected to either, supporters issues have always been something close to his heart.
Vice-Chairman - Steve Grant
Steve has been a season ticket holder since the age of 11, and has been travelling regularly to away games for the last five years. He has been involved in supporters' groups since 2003, when he was a founder committee member of Saints Away Supporters. He has since served on the committee of the TSA, and, like the chairman, stood down from there in the summer of 2005 to concentrate on The Saints Trust.

Treasurer - James Barnard
James' first taste of football was back in 1968 at the Dell against Newcastle United. He attended college at the Southampton Institute studying Mechanical Engineering and then later Cost and Management Accountancy. For the past 25 years, he has been running his own business. James is also treasurer for the TSA, Saints Away Supporters and Fair Oak Saints, and is a fundraiser for the Ted Bates Trust. As well as his passion for football he enjoys a round of golf or two and is a past captain at Botley Park Golf Club. His future hopes are to see some form of fan representation on the SFC board, and of course a return to the Premiership.

Stephen Godwin
A regular since his first match in 1974, Stephen has been active in fans issues for a few years. Previously the Chairman of the True Saints Association, he stepped down from that role in the summer of 2005 to work full time on launching The Saints Trust. Stephen firmly believes that supporters can play a crucial role in the life of their club, and hopes to see a supporters' representative on the main board of Southampton Football Club in the near future. A qualified accountant, Stephen was previously the Financial Controller of Meridian Broadcasting Ltd as well as a Vice President of Gullane PLC. Following a career change, Stephen now teaches in one of the city's secondary schools working with More Able Pupils.
