Yesterday, I spent a happy hour watching Gareth Bale repeatedly go past defenders down the left while Theo Walcott did the same on the right. It was just a shame they were on different pitches, for different teams (Wales and England), and I had to channel-hop to get this effect.

Apologies to those writing in with your comments for the problem with the letters appearing in anything but date order. We are trying to sort this out asap. David's recent letter about David McG suggested he might be better being left out of the team for a while. I would go along with this. Anyone else have any thoughts on which of our many strike forwards we should select?

Coach To Swansea.

With increased demand for Trust transport, we have booked a 52 seater for this away trip - Oct25. Seats are selling fast with only about 10 more available. Cost is £20 per head. Leaving Southampton train station at 9am, Eastleigh train station at 9.15am, then a pick up at Chievelly services. Back On The Roller Coaster.

When I was a kid, I used to get the train from Bitterne down to Portsmouth - destination Southsea - where there were (supposedly) girls to chat up and (definitely)a roller coaster to ride. These days, for conversation, I much prefer organising the country with my mates and, if I want a hairy ride, I watch the Saints.
